Retrofit must happen at pace for the UK to accomplish its net zero commitments, it is also in demand due to rising energy costs, coupled with the UK’s aging inefficient housing stock. However recent failing projects in retrofit have often been attributed to a failure to understand the homes before retrofits are designed and installed. This course will introduce the pre-assessment process and also how we can assess a retrofit to see how effective it was.
