HHSRS 2: Understanding Hazard Profiles, Likelihood and Outcomes for Surveyors

The Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) is undergoing its first major overhaul since 2006. With the revised HHSRS 2 framework due to come into force in summer 2026, chartered surveyors need a clear understanding of what has changed — and how the updated hazard structure, baselines and operating guidance will influence inspections, evidence gathering and professional judgement.

This focused 2.5 hour session aims to cut through the consultation detail and provide a clear explanation of the revised hazard profiles, likelihood and outcome principles, banding, and the evidence base that underpins the operating guidance.
